Decorative Woodchip for Play Areas

Avoid bare and muddy patches on your lawn. Make lawn mowing easier and create a safer landing area around your play equipment with Hout-land's organically coloured and natural wood chip.

A thickness layer between 25 and 30 cm is recommended. The recommended free space is 1.5 metres around play equipment. Geotextile barrier: is used to separate the natural wood chip from the underlying soil.

Supplied in 80 litre bags, and the price quoted is for the minimum order of 1 pallet of 50 bags. If you require more than 50 bags please call us to arrange.

For quantity calculation you need to allow 12.5 bags per cubic metre.

For a 10cm depth allow 1.25 bags per square metre.
For a 15cm depth allow 1.9 bags per square metre.
For a 20cm depth allow 2.5 bags per square metre.
For a 25cm depth allow 3.1 bags per square metre.
For a 30cm depth allow 3.75 bags per square metre.
