Octagonal Wooden Pool
This pool is available in two sizes:-
- 4.38m diameter x 1.17m deep (22,446 litres)
- 5.30m diameter x 1.20m deep (33,708 litres)
This pool kit includes a 2'x20' solar panel heater kit; 1/2hp pump; 4m3/hour sand filter; thermal cover; wooden external stairs; internal ladder; and 2mm thick ground felt.
The pool walls are constructed from 45mm thick treated pine timber, and are tongue and groove planks that simply interlock. The top of the pool is finished with decking planks. The liner is made from strong flexible 0.5mm thick PVC, which is treated against UV rays.
The pool is easy to assemble- it must be sited on firm, level and smooth ground. A concrete base is recommended.
A 10 year warranty is applicable on the timber against wood rot and insect damage, and a 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects on all other parts. It is not recommended that this pool is sunk into the ground.
PLEASE NOTE: The pump and filter need to be located 3.5 metres away from the pool and must be connected to a suitable weatherproof RCD-protected socket outlet. The pump is 400 watts. We recommend that filtration is turned OFF when the pool is in operation. We recommend a smooth concrete slab as a suitable base- contact a reputable local builder for advice on local soil conditions. Failure to set up the pool on a flat, level compact ground could result in the pool's collapse or the possibility that a person lounging in the pool could be swept out. Do not lean, straddle or exert pressure on the inflatable top ring or top rim as injury or flooding could occur. Do not sit on, climb or sraddle the sides of the pool.
The pool comes complete with a solar heater panel, the efficiency of which is dependent on the amount of sun. Typically it will raise the temperature of the water by about 3 degrees centigrade.
Safety: Children should be supervised at all times when in and near the pool.
