Why is the OctaJump Different?
The Octajump is unlike any other trampoline on sale in the UK currently because of the user experience. Although only one person is recommended on a trampoline at any time, we appreciate this is difficult to enforce at times. A round trampoline can draw the two jumpers together into the centre of a trampoline but an octagonal trampoline is different.

Which Shape is Safest?
Octagonal Trampolines:
The octagon trampolines are much safer than the circular design. The springs on an octagon offset the center because of the eight straight rails, so they end up criss-crossing each other to some extent. This results in less pressure behind you and you are less likely to be thrown forward off balance and into one another. There also is more vertical travel in the mat because of eight straight sides. The reason for this is because the springs in the center of the rails stretch more than the springs toward the end of the rails. This produces a softer, better and more controlled bounce then the round design.
Round Trampolines:
In a round trampoline every spring points right into the center and makes the center soft. When you move out from the center, the bounce gets harder behind you. If you lose your balance or concentration you may be thrown forward off balance. Fifty percent of trampoline injuries occur when there is more than one person jumping, and on a round trampoline the risk of collision increases.
However, because the stress on the frame is equally distributed, a lighter, more cost-effective frame can be used and so round designs are often attractively priced.
Jump for Fun's R&D dept have a constant problem, how do they improve something which is already great? Well they have to work hard to create new products and upgrade existing ones. One problem other trampoline
manufactures have is the potential for welds to break on the frame. Jump for Fun have eliminated any welds on the trampoline. the unique "T-Section" which connects the frame to the legs, creates a truly weldless rampoline. The "T-Section" also allows for a quicker assembly time. All Jump for Fun trampolines now carry this unique joining system.
Safety nets are an enclosure made for your Jump for Fun trampoline. With safety in mind we recommend the use of nets for younger jumpers. Once installed you will be safe in knowledge that the jumping area is totally enclosed making it impossible to fall off and instils user and parent confidence.
