Well lets face it everyone really wants one, it does not matter if you are in the Sahara, or the South Pole, people use hot tubs Worldwide regardless of the temperature. I have been in Canada skiing and seen people using garden hot tubs outside, even rolling in the snow afterwards!

If you buy one you will immediately find yourself with a whole new raft of friends, indeed people will call around your house with very thin excuses, yet miraculously they will have their swimming costumes with them. Trust me – Buy a tub and it will happen.

Whilst they can be a really great place for a party they can also be at their most relaxing when you are sat in them on your own at night. At the end of a hard days work there is little better than sitting down in your hot tub with a glass of wine (Just remember never to take a real glass anywhere near your tub, always use plastic) at the end of the day.

Hot tubs are really great for socialising, they are also great if you have children, although some manufacturers state that you should not have children under 12 in the hot tub. That choice is however down to you personally.

When purchasing a tub you would be well advised to buy a lockable cover to keep children out of it when not in use.

They are also very much a status symbol, so if you have the money then buy one, as they very much do say “I have arrived!”

They are also far easier to maintain than a swimming pool, indeed some of the more modern tubs come with self testing water systems, and all you need to do is ensure that the chemical reservoirs are always full. The water testing systems then automatically put the right amount of chemicals in the tub. Whilst they may cost slightly more to buy, if you have a busy lifestyle, and are short on time then they can be well worth the money.

Always remember though that you will need to look after your tub daily, you will have various tasks to do every day. And just remember that it is far easier to keep a clean hot tub clean, than it is to clean a dirty one.

Buying a hot tub is no longer expensive and you can use them all year round.
