"Lower chlorine levels will still improve water quality" says new Danish research
A new research paper from Denmark has boosted for the use of lower level of chlorine in swimming pools.
An available copy of the paper is expected to be ready for London in March. The papers research shows the possibleity to achieve significant water quality improvements and to improve the air quality of indoor pools by using lower content free chlorine with then whats used currently in most swimming pools. The Gladsaxe Sports centre in Denmark was used to carry out some trial research for this.
Danish Hydraulic Institute / Water Quality Institute (DHI Group) carried out the trial, the Danish Environmental Protection Agency and the Danish Association for Swimming Pool Technology also jointly helpped to fund the trials research.
