We strongly recommend that pool operators monitor phosphate levels in their pool water as very high levels are frequently the case in the UK which substantially increases the risk of algae attack and supports bacterial infection.
Most water companies in the UK add ortho-phosphoric acid to mains water in order to suppress lead from leaching into the water from old lead pipes.
