The Energy Pro Swimming Pool Heat Pumps are manufactured exclusively for Splash & Relax, with full parts and service back-up in the UK. They are extremely efficient and economical and a very environmentally friendly way of heating your pool. Choose from a range of sizes:- 5.6kW; 9.5kW; 12.5kW; 17kW; and 21kW. This high quality product includes a titanium heat exchanger which also makes it suitable for use with saltwater pools. Many of the components are Mitsubishi parts.

The energy is collected from the air outside and transferred to the pool water using the same technology that is used in air-conditioning units and fridges. For each single kW used by the Energy Pro heat pump, between 4 and 5kW are returned to the pool as heat.

This 5.6Kw Energy Pro Swimming Pool Heat Pump is suitable for heating either chlorine or salt water above ground or in-ground pools that hold up to around 15,000 litres (3,300 gallons) of water.  This recommendation assumes that your desired pool temperature is 29 degrees, the ambient air temperature is not less than 15 degrees and a heat retention cover is also used.

Heat Pumps work by absorbing heat from the outside air, this heat is then compressed and transferred to your pool water.

The efficiency of Heat Pumps is measured by a "coefficient of performance" (C.O.P.). The Energy Pro range of Swimming Heat Pumps produce a C.O.P. in excess of 5; in other words, for every 1Kw of electricity consumed, the Energy Pro will generate 5Kw of heat for your pool water, remarkable when you consider that the most efficient electric and gas heaters produce less than 1Kw of heating for every 1Kw consumed.

For every unit of electricity that you put in to run the compressor you will get approx. 4.6 units of heat out of the heat pump- so nearly 80% of the energy is FREE!

To heat your pool correctly you will need to run your filtration for a minimum of 12 hours a day throughout the season and use a solar cover when the pool is not in use.
