Compax Swimming Pool Enclosure

The Compax Pool Enclosure is a permanent simple clear span barrel-vault structure, glazed in replaceable panels of reinforced PVC. 'Open air'swimming under cover!

Lift an end canopy, and enjoy unrestricted access and superb ventilation. Add furniture and flowers, greenery (and grass, perhaps), and create a leisure area that you’ll be proud of. Suitable for most domestic and school pools- 100s have been installed throughout the UK.

The ends have a central entrance door but also lift to form a canopy. The interior is light and bright, without any sense of being enclosed. The sides curve steeply, creating excellent headroom.

The Compax enclosure can be fitted to new and existing swimming pools. Widths available are 6m, 7m, 8m, 8.5m and 9.3m, each of which is available in any length.

Access: Large conventional hinged doors are fitted centrally at eac end.

Opening End Canopy: Each end can quickly and easily be raised by 2 people to form a canopy. This canopy extends across the full width of the enclosure and provides superb ventilation in summer and unrestricted access to the pool area.

Frame: The Compax pool enclosure is constructed with a 60mm diameter galvanised tubular steel framework, and glazed with highly-tensioned panels of uV-resistant reinforced PVC. The curved interconnecting frame sections are set 1.5m apart creating a structure of great strength and durability. This design and the materials used have been proven over 30 years and are almost maintenance free.

Glazing Panels: each pair of curved frame arches is fitted with a highly tensioned panel of strong reinforced PVC fabric. The fabric transmits a lot of light into the enclosure and maximises the sun's heating properties which should help minimise pool heating costs. All main panels and end wall panels are individually replaceable.

Light, Bright, Airy and Spacious: The combination of excellent light transmission through the reinforced PVC fabric panels, and the clear span design of the frame means that you will never experience a 'shut-in' or enclosed feeling. The Compax pool enclosure can truly be descibed as being light, bright, airy and spacious, and a pleasure to be in.

Headroom: Steeply curving sides provide over 200cm (over 6') of headroom just 100cm in from the side. The headroom for each ridge height 1 metre in from the side is as follows:-

Foundations: If the existing pool surround is found to be unsuitable for the anchors that secure the enclosuree, strip beam foundations will be needed down both sides of the pool (not across the ends). We supply a foundation specification drawing to assist you.

Installation: we have our own experienced team.  Our prices include delivery and installation up to 100 mile radius from Northampton. For other areas please call us for an accurate quotation. 

Delivery: the lead-time is 3-8 weeks, direct from the factory in France.
