The Buffalo is Europe's no.1 low level folding pool enclosure- prolonging the pleasures of summer! For a completely open air pool in minutes, simply release the anchors and gently push- as it rolls it folds, simple as that!
Choose a width to just cover your pool- available in four ridge heights and a number of sizes to suit most pools. The panels let in so much light, you won’t feel shut in, and there’s good headroom. This end panel has been rolled up, but you could remove it in the summer. The white sections are made from a heavy-duty PVC, and reinforce the already strong “glass-clear” sections of the panel. Panels are individually replaceable and each can be removed and refitted in a few minutes.
A new and attractive concept in retracting pool enclosures, each section of the Buffalo is linked to the next by a patented folding system that allows the enclosure to smoothly concertina as it is moved off the pool. In reverse, when extending the enclosure back over the pool, the folding system locks back down into place holding the main structure rigid and tensioning the flexible glazing material.
Without the need for intrusive guide rails the Buffalo moves smoothly on non-marking rubber tyred locking wheels. With almost no effort the enclosure is quickly and easily folded or extended by 1 or 2 people. When folded off the pool the pool takes up only a small amount of poolside space- 50 to 100cm deep on average.
'Glass Clear' flexible crystal PVC is used for the glazing panels, each of which is individually replaceable. This advanced material is treated with an anti-uV formula and is supplied with a remarkable 10 year pro-rata guarantee.
This is not a lightweight building. The main structure is substantial and strong, using 105mm x 60mm sections. But as powder coated aluminium has been used throughout, the enclosure is easy to manoeuvre. As all the metal fixings and anchors are stainless steel, combined with a powder-coated frame, little maintenance is required.
No special foundations are necessary, only a level, strong and stable pool surround is needed to anchor the enclosure. Stability and security against wind is ensured using a combination of stainless steel cable and shock cord quick release anchors which secure the enclosure to the pool surround.
Headroom: Min: 0.5m. Max: 1.05m to 1.25m, depending on width of enclosure.
Self assembly: Buffalo enclosures are supplied part assembled and designed for simple fast installation. You only need to complete the assembly and anchoring, which can be accomplished quickly and easily without the need for specialist skills or tools. Assembly takes typically 1 to 2 days for two people. If, required an optional installation service is available.
Access and Security: access is via zip-fastened roll-up end 'doors'. Locks are supplied to secure the zips closed when the enclosure is unattended. Around the perimeter the flexible weather seals are secured to the ground using the enclosure's anchor system.
