Product Detail
Probably the finest composite bed pool table Riley have ever produced. An extra thick composite playing field is braced and supported by a metal frame to provide a near slate quality playing surface. The quality is apparent as soon as a ball is struck, and players remark on the playing experience delivered by the surface.
The table is fitted with competition quality K66 rubber cushions to provide maximum response during play. And, what’s more, unlike most games tables, the cloth and cushions on the Riley Semi Pro can be replaced once they are worn out – this extends the life of the table beyond that of any competing games table at this level.
Extra Thick Playing Surface
In order to deliver the best possible playing experience, Riley have fitted the Semi Pro with a 25mm composite bed playfield. That is more than double the thickness of most competing composite bed games tables. The additional thickness provides extra rigidity and stability, meaning that the playing experience is as close to a slate table as possible - but, unlike a slate table the Semi Pro can be moved out of the way when not in use.
Metal Bracing Underneath the playing surface
Riley have also fitted the Semi Pro with a metal sub-frame to provide even further support and rigidity to the playing surface. This really delivers an unprecedented playing experience for a games table.
Competition K66 American Pool Rubber
Unlike most games tables, the Riley Semi Pro is fitted with K66 competition rubber, the same that is used on slate tables. This provides the maximum response and speed when playing pool. To our knowledge, no other composite bed table uses actual competition rubber in its construction - this is a Riley first.
Re-Coverable Cloth and Cushions
Just like a slate table, the cloth and cushion rubber on the Riley Semi-Pro can be replaced when it is worn. This not only extends the life of the table, but gives you the opportunity to update the look when you wish - try a different colour to match your home! You may be a serious player with a preference for the brand of cloth you use - you will be able to cover the Riley Semi-Pro in whatever cloth you prefer. (a trained billiard fitter will be required to perform the re-covering).
