The Plastica Solar Pod is designed as an additional source of heating for your swimming pool. Suitable for above ground or in-ground pools. Suitable for pools up to 9,000 litres. For larger pools simply connect up multiple units.
ZERO HEATING COSTS- harness the energy from the sun and transfer it into your pool water using "heat trap" glasshouse effect technology.
UNIQUE DESIGN- the compact contemporary design makes the Solar Pod an attractive addition to your garden.
FOR ALL ABOVE GROUND POOLS- one pod is suitable for pools up to 4500 litres. For larger pools simply connect several units in series.
SIMPLE TO INSTALL- requires only a Philips screwdriver and silicone lubricant.
VIRTUALLY MAINTENANCE FREE- simply wipe the Solar Pods over with a non-abrasive cloth and store in a frost free location for the winter season.

NOTE:- The pump supplied with your pool may not deliver sufficient flow-rate to circulate around the pool. For long pipe runs and for where the panels are elevated onto roofs etc this will almost certainly be the case. In these instances a booster pump or larger pump may be required. When using more than three solar pods it is advisable to run them in parallel rather than series. Please contact us for details on the Accessory Kit that will allow you to do this.

The Plastica Solar Pod is also suitable for use with Intex Swimming Pools via the use of additional 1.25" hose.
