Using the pool pump, water is automatically pumped through the solar collectors. The water is then heated as it moves through the collectors. The heated water is returned back to the pool through the return fitting. Connection to the solar collectors is made by two 1 1/2" male threaded fittings. The type will depend on your existing pool pipework- i.e. rigid or flexi.

- Direct flow system for efficient heating and winterisation.
NOTE: This solar heater is an aid to swimming pool heating and may be used in conjunction with other methods of heating the pool water in unpredictable seasonal weather conditions.
Each kit contains:-
- Two 2ft x 20ft solar panels
NOTE: The SOM003 System Fixing Kit is also required to fit your solar heating kit. This will cater for up to four solar panel kits. Contents are as follows:-
- One 1.5" diverter valve
- One 3.75" hose
- Two pipe adaptors
- One end cap
- One vacuum relief end cap
- Five stainless steel mounting brackets
- Five 2" no.14 stainless steel screws
- One spring check valve
- One stainless steel clamps
- 100ft web strap
- One instruction leaflet
For mounting on roofs or alternative board structures, then the SOM050 Roof Mounting Kit will be required.

NOTE:- The pump supplied with your pool may not deliver sufficient flow-rate to circulate around the pool. For long pipe runs and for where the panels are elevated onto roofs etc this will almost certainly be the case. In these instances a booster pump or larger pump may be required.
