Intex Krystal Clear Sand Filter Pumps are an ideal way to keep your pool water clean with the minimum of cost and effort.  The sand in the filter only needs replacing every 5 years.  The 1200 gallon sand filter pump requires 12kg of silica sand (not supplied). 6 function valve  for filtering, backwashing, rinsing, recirculating, emptying and stopping. 24hr cycle timer. Pressure gauge. Safety shut-off.

One of the best sand filter pumps, the Intex Krystal Clear 1200 gallon Sand Filter Pump is ideal for 16ft diameter pools and 18ft x 9ft rectangular pools.  With a system flow rate of 1,050 gallons per hour this pump will keep your pool water circulating so it retains its clarity and cleanliness.  With its 6 function control valve you can easily filter, backwash, rinse, recirculate, drain and close the system.  It has a 24 hour automatic timer to help ensure the pump operates when it should without the need to continually turn it on and off.


NOTE: this pump will require Intex type B adaptors to connect on to a pool that is using 32mm connections with pushfit pipes.

This pump is more than adequate for our pool and keeps it crystal clear. Our pool is an above ground pool of 3,660lts. We have opted to run our pump using flowclear polysphere balls. Lower pressure at the pump, this will help its life better, less weight, easier to move or transport, long life, easy to wash and reuse, and best of all, no backwashing necessary. We have also coupled this pump up with the Intex Krystal clear salt water system for pools up to 7000 gallons. These items together, using pool salt to generate chlorine, have kept our pool completely clear and clean, and most importantly almost maintenance free and safe for everyone to use.
