Swimming is considered to be the most beneficial form of exercise whilst building strength and stamina and reducing stress to the body joints due to the buoyancy of the water. If you have not got the room for a full size pool in your garden then why not try the new exercise pool, with internal measurements 3.9m long x 2.4m wide x 1.17m high, fitted with the optional over-the-wall 1.8kW swim jet.
External measurements: 4.43 x 2.99 x 1.20 metres.
This new version includes the following upgrades:- a thicker 2-piece top rail complete with hidden fixings kit; under-bracing making the pool suitable for siting on a flat and stable lawn; a smoother finish to the external side timbers.
This new pool has been carefully designed to suit all members of the family from the strongest of swimmers to the beginners. This exercise pool can be used for all types of swimming techniques, or as an air-bubble bath for under water massage.
This exercise pool can be installed either above the ground, requiring minimal ground work, or in-ground providing an easy installation and aesthetically pleasing addition to your home leisure and exercise routines.
The Perla Badu Jet unit sits on the pool surround and its body drops into the pool below the water level. Once primed the Badu Jet System produces a very impressive 40m3 per hour continuously variable flow rate with a massage pressure of 0.9 bar from its 2.3kW input/1.6kW output pump unit. A 16 amp C-rated fuse is required.
The Badu Jet unit has air injection via a venturi system, and this is adjustable. All the controls can be operated from the front face of the unit. There is a range of extras including massage hoses and grab rails.
Each kit comes with everything necessary to build a complete functioning pool, except the concrete for the base, electrics and of course the water to fill it with!
The pool shell walls are manufactured from Scandinavian Redwood, pressure treated with an ecologically safe preservative and carry a ten year manufacturer's warranty. The 2-piece top shelf is made from wood and includes a hidden fixings kit which hides the screws by fixing to the underside of each plank rather than through the top.
A Pipework Extension Kit is also available for the addition of electric heaters or other plant room equipment.
The liners are manufactured by Plastica from 0.75mm vinyl in either plain blue with a mosaic tile band, and all carry a standard five year warranty. Plain blue and patterned liners are also available.
Solar & winter covers are also options in a variety of quality grades.

Please note; if opting for the Solar Heating Kit, this pool will require three panels for optimum effect.
PLEASE NOTE: The pump and filter need to be located 3.5 metres away from the pool and must be connected to a suitable weatherproof RCD-protected socket outlet. We recommend that filtration is turned OFF when the pool is in operation. We recommend a smooth concrete slab as a suitable base- contact a reputable local builder for advice on local soil conditions. Failure to set up the pool on a flat, level compact ground could result in the pool's collapse or the possibility that a person lounging in the pool could be swept out.
