You'll have to think quickly to beat your friends and family at the 5 Second Rule game. It might sound easy to name 3 simple things, like 3 things beginning with the letter 'B' or 3 yellow foods. But it gets a lot harder when you only have 5 seconds to think of them! Be prepared to come out with some crazy nonsense as you scramble for the correct answers that will get you to the finishing square first. 5 second rule is a great family game for 3-6 players aged 8 and up.
How to Play
The winner of 5 Second Rule is the first player to reach the finish spot through thinking quickly and holding their nerve. Each player takes a turn in the hot seat and has to answer a question, such as “Name 3 things you can paint” or “Name 3 celebrity couples”. They then have 5 seconds to think of 3 answers and say them all out loud before the small silver balls reach the bottom of the spiral timer. If 3 correct answers are given, the player gets to move forward one space on the board. If not, the same question is asked of the next player and they have to give 3 completely different answers. PASS ON and SWITCH cards are there to help along the way, but watch out for the Danger Zones on the game board as you could miss a turn. The questions for 5 Second Rule have been carefully written so that children as young as 8 can enjoy all the fun of this must-have family game.
