This best selling, award-winning game is a very easy first game for very young players. It can be played in two ways, depending on the age of the players. For very young players, each player chooses a game board, and all the cards are shuffled and placed face down on the table. Each player turns over a card, showing it to the other players, and then places it on their game board if it matches one of their pictures. If it doesn't match, the card is returned face down to the table, and the next player takes their turn. Play continues in this way until one person has filled all the spaces on their board, and is the winner. For slightly older players, the cards are shuffled and placed face down in a pile, and players take it in turn to pick up a card from the top of the pile. They show it to the other players and it is given to the person with the matching picture to place on their board. Play continues until one person has filled their card. The game can also be played as a simple 'pairs' game, trying to pick pairs of matching pictures or colours from cards face down on the table.The game helps with colour and word recognition as well as social skills. It has bright, clear illustrations, which young children will find very appealing. It is made from durable, thick card.
