These crazy pirates are getting up to all sorts of mischief in this funny, action-packed puzzle. Suitable for ages 6 to 9, there are 100 pieces to put together, to produce a finished picture of approximately 42cms x 51.5cms. This is one of our more challenging puzzles, and its unusual shape means there are no straight edge pieces to help you. Children will feel a sense of achievement when they can complete the puzzle. There's a great deal of detail in the illustration, with lots going on and plenty to laugh at and talk about once you have completed the puzzle. You can ask your child to look for various items: Can you spot a feather duster? Where can you see a cobweb? What animal is in the rowing boat? What number is printed on the football shirt? You can also help with their counting skills; how many socks are hanging out to dry? How many bones can you see on the flags? How many sharks are in the water? How many animals can you see? By talking about the picture, children can increase their vocabulary skills, and can make up little stories about the different scenarios going on within it.
