The Bruder MAN TGS Garbage Truck is a 1:16 scale replica of a versatile heavy-duty refuse vehicle, designed to bring realistic construction and waste-collection play to life. Modelled on a truck renowned for its powerful engines, robust build, and above-average payload capacity, this toy captures the look and function of the real machine in impressive detail.
The two-tone cab is a standout feature, complete with doors that open to reveal a detailed interior workspace. The loading and unloading sequence is operated via a unique rotating wheel mechanism, which controls the entire refuse-collection process. Waste bins are placed into the console, lifted, and emptied into the body of the truck, where a functional press mechanism compresses the contents before transporting them into the storage container. A viewing window allows children to watch this process in action, adding an educational dimension to play.
Once the container is full, turning the handle at the top of the waste bin activates a discharge chute that moves the waste back past the raised loading unit, simulating the real emptying procedure. A flexible support bracket also allows the waste container itself to be operated in a similar fashion. The truck rolls on treaded tyres for grip on a variety of surfaces.
